O/D auto trans/rear gear combo...highly recomeded
2004r/3.90 Thats it. Great gear spread with plenty of tq from the hole. The full throttle shift into 4th at 105mph feels friggin awsome. All I need now is more power. Then I can get really sick.

Did you get yours from BTO?
Good to hear though, that is the gear I was thinking about running. That or a 3.73, whats your RPM at 70mph with a 3.90?

Yes BTO.. Its a solid rebuild but I wasnt really happy with thier programing so I changed that with a shift kit and a modified govenor. So now it shifts harder and later at WOT. When left in D it upshifts about 5k. But when I wanna shake every ounce of power from the motor I manually shift and hold it out to 5500rpm. It revs about 2300rpm while locked up in 4th at 70mph with a 26" tire. Its perfect..I just want more power!!!! Gotta gottta have it. :D First and second is gone in no time. Third hangs on a little longer. Then at about 105 you feel the squat in the rear and the nose lift a little as the r's drop when it shifts to 4th. I usually cant stay in 4th too long as I find myself quickly aproaching something or another. ive also hammered the convertor pretty good by locking it during my runs at the track. Its holding up good. Knock on wood. :)
