Default Vettes in parades

Took my youngin to the 4th July parade in town today. There was at least 10 vettes in the parade spaced throughout. There were other kings of nice cars too but definatly more vettes than any others. Now isnt that a tesiment to a true American icon? Hope you all have a great holiday. I think ill go for a drive in the vette.

I went to our Parade today, kinda jealous of the Vettes in the Parade, thinking Mine should be in there. I think you just about have to be a club member around here to get in one. Only one C3
Have a Great 4th celebration

Had my 78 vette in local parade today wuth the East Tennessee Corvette Club.

We had a good showing of 10 Vettes, (1) 65 C2 conv, (1) 78 Coupe, (4) C4, (4) C5.

The kids and the guys want to ref-up engines and hear those V-8. Also were a couple of other Vettes in parade.

I work at a yachet club and i was called in about 5 hours early today, they woke me up, and its on one of those small pennisulas in the chesapeake bay with only one road in. Well they have fireworks and a parade. I got stuck in the parade trying to get to work. I was going in the same direction so i just ducked my 76 into it, it wasnt that much of a parade and it was allmost over, and just folled it until my turn. I was like i just wanna get to work. i t was wierd.

If you enjoy parades, go for it!! :) I tried it once, and being in a parade is like being stuck in traffic, which neither I nor my vette enjoys! :) MJ

Our club does lots of parades and I will help out if they are in dire need of a vert, but I try to do as few as possible. It is very hard on the clutch with my 3:36 gears the pace is never fast enough to let it all the way out. So far this year I haven't done any. Craig
