A friend has one in his '64...C2, and it fits well, and looks for all the world like it's easy fit to a C3....
neat install, assuming you get the compressor on the pass side as God intended....

Re: anyone have vintage air in a c3 ? (mrvette)
I'm just about finished with it.
Do not let anyone fool you... it is complicated.
It is a VERY tight fit in any vette. I had to cut out some of the glass on the tranny tunnel and re-fiberglass it in just to have room to fit the unit behind the dash. Others have done the same and I followed their lead.
If I had to do it over again, I would go with old-air products or hot-rod air both of these companies have units that will fit better, but they do not have the history of vintage air. I was not willing to take the chance, but it sure would have saved me a lot of fabrication. Every duct joint needed work as well as all of the hoses (all had to be custom made). If you could get one with the hoses correct, it would save a lot of trouble too.
Good luck if you are going to try it. I still haven't fired mine up yet. Hopefully in a couple of weeks.

I have one, so does 69MyWay, I haven't tried mine yet, but it's already installed. Chris (69MyWay) loves his system, this A/C is ice cold. The installation is not too bad, you need to remove your dash, all the old heater/ A/C stuff. The evaporator is a very tight fit, but once in place you are very happy you did it. If you have any more questions or need to see pics, I'm more than happy to help you out.
