I wanted to get a customized plate for my 1982CE. In Michigan, we have two options...if you want a plate with some color and pizzaz (I really want to get the "Proud to be American" plate) it only has the option of 5 letters.

If I need more letters, I can go with the plane Jane version and get the blue and white plate (which I really don't want to do, but will if I have to). The blue and white plate has 7 letters.

I only came up with "LUVMY82" which is kinda hokey sounding, but I bet you guys can come up with something really creative and funny.

One guy I work with said I should do this one: KZY L8Y which is what my nic name is at work.

Vanity plates are fun! We only get six letters in Texas. I just got a set that say RED RAT. You're welcome to use the other one I was considering--I thought it would get me into too many pissing matches with ricers: FSTR N U :D

I think all C3's 1968 to 1982 are referred to as "Sharks" as the body style was based on the Mako Shark show car. "Stingray" (one word) was 1969-76.

How about 82-CE ?

Indiana's ugly azz plates forced me away from a vainty plate for my 68. I just got a veteran plate because it is just a normal looking red white and blue plate.

Is there anyone out there that likes the Indiana plates? Hey, I should have got H8 PL8 (HATE PLATE)! I wonder if that one is taken.
