Longtime lurker-first post
Hi, guys---wanted to finally post now that my new computer isn't half as old as my car. :lol: I've been reading the posts here, mostly on the weekends when I have the chance to get online, and you all sound like a great bunch. Anyway, I love Corvettes of any year, but my favorite body style is the shark style, especially 80-82. (Performance notwithstanding, but hey, there's always GM Goodwrench crate motors). ;) I'm the second owner of a 1980 L-48 which I bought from a lady in 1995. It was originally silver, and I had it painted black in 1998. It's been garaged most of its life except for the first two years I owned it, and it's pretty much stock. The signature pic of me and the car is scanned so it's not the best, but hopefully I'll get some new technology around here before long and can post a clearer one. BTW, happy July 4th to all my American brothers, and if you're not American but appreciate America and/or America's sports car, then happy 4th to you, as well. :flag See ya round!

Me too.
When I get my wits about me I will start posting some pics of mine. The paint was done in 2001 on my car, so It's time to tap into the forum for some polishing/protecting tips.
I want to keep that paint "damn clean!" :blueangel:
