Update on the 80' Duntov..
For those of you that remember about my accident with the 1980 Duntov Convertible.. here is a update..
After getting the insurance money - I sold the wreck... The buyer of the wreck - who was planning to fix up the car - contacted me recently and told me that he won't be able to finish the car because his business is keeping him busy and asked me to list the car for him on Ebay (he will pay for the listing) because I know much more about the car than him - so that I can anwer potential questions. Inbetween - he purchased most parts necessary to fix up the car...
I just listed the car for him... I hope that the car will find another good home...

Olivier...
Maybe it is a hallucenation, but it seems you have lost 5,000+ posts in the last week. I thought you were right at 40,000. Maybe I'm just losing it. :D

You took a nasty pop in the rear, there. Sad to see that. Hope she goes to someone who'll return her faithfully to her former glory.

I cannod discuss the story behind that lead to the reduction here on the forum or via IM... I can do that only via e-mail...

Not trying to get you into trouble O, but some people... including those who docked you... are putting WAYYYYYYY too much importance on "post count"!! I mean, good grief! Look at mine!! Do me a favor, please and reset my counter! I am afraid somebody I work with will see that I have almost one million posts on corvetteforum! MJ

hopefully the duntov goes to a good home. i'd love to have it, but like the current owner, i don't have enough time to fix it. i am currently taking the l-98 out of my 86 to fix it up a little. looks like it's taking longer than i'd hoped :boxing

Yeah, but that one still has the original engine and is in good condition, so the 12k for the wreck plus countless hours of work (if the frame is still straight) and then haveing to paint it and find a matching wheel, 12K is just waaaaaay too much in my book
