Water in my oil....?
This morning I went out to adjust my rocker arms and my oil is brown and milky. I assume it's a coolant leak in the crankcase somehow. Is it more likely to be a head gasket or the intake gaskets...?
Motor has less than 500 miles and has been running very strong. My coolant level was down about a half gallon and there are no apparent external leaks.
Car is at my girlfriends house and I can't work on it here.
Is it safe to drive it 10 miles to my house or should I call AAA and have it towed..?

Man that does sound like a head gasket or hopefully an intake gasket leak. leak. :( Hope it is not from the resleeving. If you got AAA I would have it towed, no sens risky damaging your eng. Speaking of AAA I still need to join, have spent too much on towing sicne I bought the vette and now the Formula. :cuss

i always check the easy stuff 1st.
if the wrong sealant was used on the head bolts, that could be it.
i would change the oil/filter and drive it home. no big deal.

First look at the intake gasket, especially if it is aluminium. I usually have to retorque them several times in the first few miles. After that look at head gaskets. Hershey :chevy

Intake and left side head is off so far. Today I will remove the other head. Left head gasket looks good, but I did find some coolant in number five cylinder. After I have both heads off I will take them to a friends house so we can preassure test them. He has a drag car and all the equipment to do the test. I'm afraid I may have a crack in the block. That's a drag but no big deal really. If I have to swap the block I will just do it and get the car back on the road. I think I have another block lined up already.
I will report again when I know more. :(
