Swappin out a L48 for a ZZ4.
I've got a 76 vette with a L48 that I'm swappin out for a ZZ4 with Fast Burn heads. I was wonderin if anyone else had done something similar and how they liked the results. Also, any tips would be great!! Thanks. :thumbs:

Crickett,
welcome to the forum! i have done this and its very easy. the only problem that i have is keeping motor mounts in it :D
the hard part is getting the old motor out if you still have the fan shroud on it. do not cut it ($450 i think) and do not put it back on. go with and ele fan setup. dont forget to change the water pump to a short one.
