Default Dual Diaphragm EGR Valve: Ever heard of? How does it connect?

Well, to my amazement, my EGR valve on my 75 Chevy Truck, just happens to be FOR 75's ONLY! It's a Dual Diaphragm, which means it has two vacuum connections. The top one, I got connected to a Thermal switch (threaded into the Thermostat Cover) but the bottom connection, I have no clue how it goes...is it a return vacuum, or does it need to HAVE vacuum? Thanks!
