shift kit for 4 speed manual questions
i will be having the trans rebuilt sometime this summer...curious if there is a shift kit available with a shorter throw that will enable me to retain the reverse lockout.

If you use earlier shift levers (on the trans) they had two sets of holes. I think they stopped putting the dual holes in the levers about 75.

My Hurst Competition Plus Shifter does not have a lock out, but it is manufactured so it takes considerable concentration to shift into reverse.
