Default my 700r4 trans woes update-im happy again

ok i figured it out ,and a thanks to page62 for pointing me in the right direction, since i changed throttle bodys to a 90 style i had to change the direction of the throttle cable and the tv cable ,so what that did was change how it was pulling the tv cable and how it gets adjusted.I tried checking the pressure but my guage went to 120 and got stuck there,it goes to 240 but it never moved after that.So i set it up like they say then went back to the firewall 2 clicks and tried it .It now chirps 2nd firminto 3rd and goes into overdrive like its supposed to and stays there.Im a happy camper. :D So i ordered a .521 boost valve,a billet servo kit and a 3/4 servo for it to help boost pressure and shift better.I love this first gear in it burns the tires down the street, can we say new tires every month :yesnod: So yes tv pressure has alot to do with how it shifts big time.

Congrats Pat. :)

I was able to salvage the engine after a friend (and corvette engine guru) went over it and blessed it. :)

It seems that the engine was rebuilt in the past (prior to my purchasing it) and actually has little wear. The only problem was that the broken spring retainers were still in the oil

So... the engine is now ready for paint. :D:D I'm off my target date by 2 days, but I expect that to grow anyway. :) I'll keep you updated. :seeya

Ok, now stop b%^&hin and drive that sucker. Also your neighbors called and want me sign a petition to move you out of the hood. :jester Something about open side pipes, burnouts, and throwing the :nono: finger at them.
Glad to hear you are running again.
