Anybody with Summit billit fuel pressure regulator?
I just installed the Summit fuel pump and billet regulator and am having some problems.
First, the specs on the regulator are from 5 - 12 psi, but I can set it with the car idling to < 3 psi.
Yesterday, I had it set to 5psi and all seemed fine, but once after I got on it (to 6000 RPM), I couldn't get my car to idle < 2000 RPM and it was just dumping fuel out the exhaust. I couldn't idle it to check the fuel pressure, but I'm sure it was pretty high. I did encounter a problem like this when setting it up, but when I pulled the throttle, the pressure came right back down.
Also, when I set the pressure with the car not running, say to 5 psi, then I start it up, the pressure is < 3psi.
Anybody else have any experiences with this fpr?
