Car is idling at 2000 RPM!!!!!!!
Somebody please help, my car won't idle until you maintain it at about 1700 to 1900 rpm for about 6-7 seconds. I was happy at first because it was idling, but then i learned that it should only be idling at about 800 because thats what it idled at before it was stored. I decided to investigate the carb and dicovered that gas was pouring out the nozels!! and not spraying like it supposed to. Even at 2000 RPM the idle is very rough so somebody help me please.

If you have fuel pouring out the main discharge nozzles at idle, you have either a fuel level control problem (bad float, crap in the needle/seat, etc) or a plugged idle metering circuit. The carb needs to be pulled off, disassembled, cleaned up, and given a precision setup.
