I have used good ole Rustoleum in red, black or whatever over the years. Has never come off is very durable, but slow drying. I also like the plasticote cast gret (raw cast iron color) for brake parts, sway bars, master cylinder

I used Plasticoat Brake Caliper paint on mine, I got it from Walmart. It looks great!!!Very bright red finish! I havent put them on my car yet though so i can't comment on its durability. I dont think it would make any difference if you used it on other parts of your car.

I just did this, and I really like Krlyon. The Rustoleum is more expensive and I had a lot of problems with the spraying. The Rustoleum also takes too long to dry. The Krylon seemed to dry almost instantly.
