Does anyone make repro trim rings without the seam?
I ordered repro trim rings from ecklers only to find out they have an ugly seam. Do I have to buy originals to get away from this? I actually only need two.

I have bought a couple of sets that were fine... I don't know what "seam" you are talking about. The ones I bought were not the plastic ones I see advertised once in a while. Mine were the steel ones with the cleats all the way around.

The seam I'm refering to runs up thru the valve stem hole. It's where the ring comes together. I'm assuming the originals are soldered or welded there to fill in the seam them ground down and polished.
