Default Took the 70' out for a blast up to Home Depot..

Since buying the car 3 weeks ago, this was the first time I've had to just go for a cruise. With the stock tight converter and 454 c.i. of torque, it's not bad for a 33 year old original car. Although my 99 has me spoiled with power... walking out of Home Depot and seeing the Cortez Silver paint under the parking lot lights.... damn these sharks look good. :chevy

I'm right there with you. The newer cars have a lot of advantages. But when the weather is warm (it was close to 70 here) and the sun is out, there is nothing like it. I packed the dog in the car, and we put about 60 miles on the car, just an evening cruise. I'm so glad winter is gone. :yesnod:

Owning a 99 and a 70, what a combination of fun.

You will find new ways of enjoying the 70 with every drive.

I hope you parked well away from everyone! I'm always careful where I park mine, especially in a highly traveled parking lot like Home Depot. People laugh when I park WAY down from the front door, but I'm assured of no door dings! :smash:
