is it possible to have an oil leak from the fuel pump??
if so is this an easy fix (replace gaskets, nothing else)

You may need to replace the fuel pump to engine gasket. My 72 has 2 gaskets. One is the plate to engine gasket (the one most likely to leak) and the pump to plate. Also the front main engine seal could be leaking. This will spray oil to the passenger side of the car and accumulate on the fuel pump. This oil will drip off the pump when you stop giving the false impression the pump is leaking.
