I need help in putting back my center console. I took the console/shifter cover plate off, the heater control, etc. and removed the console to re-dye/paint it. I started to put everything back together, but I'm not sure if the heater control bracket rests on top of the center console (and then the console/shifter cover plate goes over the top of and screws threw the heater braket), or if the heater bracket is supposed to be installed underneath the center console...am I making any sense??? Anyway, I'd REEEAAALLLYYYY appreciate it if anyone has a picture (or two) that they could post with their console/shifter cover plate off...this would help a great deal.

I installed mine with the heater control mounting plate on top of the console.
