Has anyone installed the New 17 or 18 inch Cragar S/S Forged Alloys on C3
I have a 69 Roadster and am thinking about trying the new Cragar S/S. I heard that the old 15 inch S/S needs a spacer to clear the Calipers. Has anyone installed the new larger ones and are spacers still needed??
Thanks for any information.

There's one guy on the forum who's dad owns the most beautiful 70-72 coupe. It's light green metallic and it wears 17" Cragars. I think the guy who's member here owns a C4 or C5... Sorry I can't remember the user name... :seeya

Thanks I was very pleased with the way it turned out. It has an LS-1 in it and it was featured in the April "Vette" Magazine.

I looked at your web page and I like the Torque Twister also. You did not mention using any spacers so I assume that they cleared without any spacers. Did you purchase them locally or online?

Vette Lover! Yeah, you're gonna need the spacer for the Cragars. But, not with the Torque-thrust II's I've got a set of "Colorado Customs" Leadvilles that look like the torque-thrust's & similiar to the Cragars. Colorado Customs makes 'em to your specifications, so NO SPACERS & the correct offest. Besides, "Colorado Customs" have no ugly lugs or valve stems showing at all & look "clean". Check out their wheel line at colorado customs.com

Depends as to what year C-3 'ya got. They wouldn't fit on my '72 (just scraped the caliper) & a '72 is pretty much the same as a '69. I guess if you want to do a little shaving of the spokes & the caliper castings, you could probably make 'em fit OK without much effort.

The wheels that are on it now are 16" Wheel Vintiques Rally wheel. the back is Painted the same color as the car (Admiral Blue) and the outer rims are chrome (no need for trim ring).
