Default Over-Exhaust Wire Looms or (Stock) Chrome Under-Header Shielding?

I've been keeping my eye on the 'new age' wire looms that are one-piece and mount along the lower edges of valve covers. I like them for two reasons: They are one-piece (obviously) and as a result, they are very rigid and don't introduce the clutter of a bunch of plastic 'snap on' clips.

Any experience with them? I'm leaning toward either chrome finish or black plastic finish. Who has the best value on these and do they accomodate 8mm wires?

I used to have these

When I put the sidepipes on though I switched to routing them against the block like stock.

I need to update my engine pics  :leaving:
