Default Don't you hate it when you buy something and it's missing parts?

I bought a new 4 wheel 1000lb engine stand a couple of weeks ago.

I went to put it together last night and I was missing about half of the hardware and directions. :mad :mad

There's no way that I am paying for return shipping.

I called the company and they apologized profusely and they are looking into scavanging the hardware from another unit to send me. Unfortunately, they can't get it here by tomorrow.... so the engine stays in a few more days. :mad

Lesson learned.... open the box and double check the part list immediately.

Kind of like my hooker side pipes and headers with no bolts, gaskets, directions
I feel your pain.

I know it's the point of it all, but you can probably upgrade most of the
'included' hardware to grade 8 for a few extra bux at the HW store.
I have a feeling that you don't _really_ need the directions.

Good luck pulling the motor. Wait a minute - pulling the motor a day before spring ?
I guess we'll both be lucky to be driving much this season. :mad

I did end up buying stage 8 locking bolts and better gaskets to be safe, but in the middle of the install I found out there was nothing in there. But I had to figure something out to mount up the side tubes....the hardware was some special stuff for those tubes....
And now I gotta take it back apart since it rusted in less than 2 months
Im just a little upset with the coating and I posted my first thread while i was waiting to talk to them for the 5th time. It was just me venting....I apologize
