Check out the 1970 style wheel flares. I guess that was a rare option too. This car was obviously ahead of its time. :D

Re: A"Rare" '69 LT-1 on Ebay (69er)
NOTE: This car is not an "69 LT-1" car it has an L46 option which means it has a 350 - 350 HP engine, the engine code is HX. The block number is 010. Sorry about the mistake.
The above was adde by the seller.
Now in case you were wondering: The 69 COrvette "LT1" was advertised but never produced by Chevrolet. All of the "LT1" parts went to the Camaro's. But there were some dealers who insatlled the "LT1" parts before the Corvettes were sold. One of those dealers was Clippinger Chevrolet in Covina Ca. A friend of mine owned one of these Clippinger cars for quite a few years and he did have the history of it dating back to new.

Anyone know total production for 1969? That VIN looks like it might be very close to the end of the run.

Re: A"Rare" '69 LT-1 on Ebay (A C)
NOTE: This car is not an "69 LT-1" car it has an L46 option which There is only one 69 LT-1 ever sold to the public. It was sold through Clippinger Chev. It was delivered to the dealer with the factory small block hood, and I believe it was blue if I remember right. There was a road test of that car by Car Life in 1969. The other LT-1 was factory produced, but never saw the street. That one did have the LT-1 hood and stripe and also had sidepipes  . There are pictures of both of them in the 1969 Stingray Guidebook. I really doubt this is one of the cars, or I would think the asking price would be much higher.

There could be more than one. The book I was reading only mentions one, but it could certainly be wrong.
