Default Primer on Fiberglass?

I'm getting ready to paint the underbody and wheel wells.. Non-metal parts.. Should I use a primer first? On metal parts I always prime with a rust enhibitor or with the POR-15 you use their metal ready stuff.. but on fiberglass do I need to prime for better adhesion..

Default Re: Primer on Fiberglass? (Koz)

Only depending on the finish your looking to achieve. If your spraying undercoating, clean and use wax and grease remover.

If your painting with urethane and want show quality, I'd seal and prime the bare glass. If you want a first class finish underneath you may send Rich Lagasse an IM for his opinion.
