Wiper door vacuum system on a 72
Hi all,
I'm making ready to install my new L88 hi rise long hood. So I have the entire wiper door and vent grill off and stored. Since the wipers will work electronically, do I need ANY of the vacuum hoses, except for the washer squirter?
There's a protruding cavity (like a box) on the firewall now where the vacuum cup used to be mounted. I'm looking at installing the relays for the Spal fans in there :)

Re: Wiper door vacuum system on a 72 (biltogo)
You won't need the vacuum hoses but if its the same on a 69 you will have to bypass or depress the switch that turns on the wipers when the door lifts up thats on the passenger side firewall.
