I read the post on the 427 and was interested if someone had one for a stock or fairly stock LS5 454 ....I have added torker 2 manifold/edelbrock 750/ unknown lift Manley cam/ hooker headers sidepipes ...they need jcl baffles from what i,ve read ....anyone thanks in advance if anyone has something ..Tim :flag

This is just a guess but since the net hp ratings started in 1972 the 454 was rated at 270 to 275hp. The 70 version had a higher compression ratio so I would say it would put out 300hp in stock trim.

Check out Markus' website (Zwede). It's a 71, but close enuf to a 70. He has dyno sheets stock, and also showing the improvement after several mods. :)
