nope just castrol 10-40 dino oil....my boss runs it in his Viper

Are you using a roller cam? I heard that synthetic's shouldn't be used with a roller camshaft. I did see in article, I think in Chevy High Performance, where they gained 15hp by using Royal Purple over regular oil.

It's good stuff but I don't think it's worth $10 a quart. :rolleyes:

I realize they have different grades and prices range from $6-$10+ per quart (one for small engine, one for big blocks, one for high compression, one for Nitrous/turbo/blower, ect), but Mobil 1 synethetic is good enough for me. :yesnod:

Not for me. Valvoline Racing Oil 20W-50 is the only thing that touches my engine's innards.

True, if you want the agverage everyday run of the mill full synthetic. BUT they also sell speciality oils like I list above (for big displacement, power adders, ect) for $10 a quart.
