Default Did anyone see Two Guys Garage this weekend?

They had an engine building contest using Marshall Engines.

I went to Marshall's web site to check it out and thought the prices were high compared to other engine builders I have seen.

Has anyone used their engines or know anything about them?

I think the idea was to see who could build one the fastest; it only had to run for 30 seconds after that.

My point is the engines on thier web site seem to be very high priced. I just "built" a 383 with forged block, polished aluminum heads and intake manifold and chrome oil pan. The price was $6300.00.

marshall engines are very expensive...but they use very expensive parts too. i decided that my needs of actually driving my car on a routine basis doesn't help me to have a marshall engine...i would rather save the money and buy a GM crate and lots of chrome!

I saw it and checked out their site after the broadcast. Those engines are to rich for my blood.

I am going GM crate or maybe an AR engine.
