Default will it fit ?

I thought I saw a post about this before, but I couldn't find it. Will a Edelbrock Air Gap Intake fit under a stock hoo like this one and which Air Cleaner will I need to use?
Thanks Larry

Yes.

Clink has fit that intake under his stock '69 hood. The hood that you have pictured appears to be a long style hood from a '73-'76 'Vette. That hood will have more clearance than a stock short style '69 hood.

You will have to use a drop base air cleaner to fit it under the hood. If you go with the drop base air cleaner you will also have to cut your choke tower off. The reason for this is because with a drop base air cleaner and choke tower it doesn't not allow enough air to get to the primaries and the result will be that your motor will run rich.

It will fit though.

Thank you, I thought it would, but I wanted to be sure before a forked out the cash. Now hopefully I will get my motor in in the next couple of weeks. Thanks for your help.

I have an Air-Gap intake. It fits fine with a drop-base air cleaner.
