Tach or speedometer Question
I have an HEI distributer and A ZZ3 engine,There is a cable screwed into what looks like the base of the dist. Is that the speedometer or the tach?There two wires plugged into the dist that Say Tach and Batt. :confused:

I didn`t even realize you could have an HEI with a tach drive. :cool: This might be pretty cool to hunt up.

If it's a mechanical tach drive what is the wire that is plugged into the dist. that says Tach? :confused:

Good point,maybe he had an aftermarket tach in the car before you got it and he removed it but the wire is still there.Are the tach the original still?

Don't Know if it's original,The guy I bought the car from is a complete stranger to the truth and talking to him is to put it politely less than satisfying :mad
