Default Wenol Metal Polish

Anyone using this stuff. I bought some this weekend and I came home with it and the first thing I polished was a half dollar. Wow, I was pretty impressed. I bought a tube of the red and a tube of the blue. So far I have only used the red. Check it out. It looks like a mirror. I had to take several pics just to make one show up without the reflection.

Yep I have used it and still prefer Mothers chrome polish over any of the other brands. But hey it's just personal preference most of the time. :)

I was going to buy that same stuff, but Autozone doesn't carry it :( . Maybe I'll find some at a show this year ;) .

I got you all beat!

It's called a Makita Angle Grinder w/ pad and follow up with Mothers. Possibly the best shine.

This.

gives you this

This goes by a number of names, but is essentially simichrome polish. The stuff is great. The best price I have found is on "Flitz" in the quart can at shows/swap meets. I just bought a quart at Chevy Vettefest for $40.00. The quart can is equal to (6) large tubes or (12) small tubes. The small ones usually sell for around $6-7.

It will polish metal and even restore lexan. A very good use is taillight plastic. Be careful of using it on gold irridate plated items such as master cylinder covers, etc. It will strip the plating. I found out first hand. It will look real nice when done, but it will have a chrome/nickel type of look.

:iagree:

I love the stuff, it's all I ever use....got the red & blue tubes at Carlisle a number of years ago and they will probably last another couple of years.

That Mother's polish is great for aluminum wheels! I'll have to tyr the buffing wheel trick, I always hand polish mine.

Great stuff, been using it for years. Works well on plastic lenses. Requires lots of buffing to get it completely gone. :flag
