Default Advice needed on power window switch

I found a small piece of plastic broken on the bottom side of one of my power window switches, which was allowing the contact block to push down when the switch was depressed and preventing the contact from making when the switch was depressed. My question is twofold: Has anyone ever glued a contact block to the plastic case and had it successfully work? If not, when one buys a new switch, does the switch case and electric contact block come as one piece or two and do the wires have to be soldered on the new switch..

My guess the switch will come all in one. If you are interested in a used one I have two.
