Default '69 350 w/ Power Steering question

My '69 350/350 with power steering...theinner-most belt that drives the alternator seems to be rubbing against the power steering pump. Is this typical? Thoughts on a remedy?

They are real close on my car. There is even a rub plate on the PS pump. Suggest a longer belt on the pump.

Dunno about the longer belt .... but I suggest taking real good look at the pump to see if it is straight. Is the pulley lining up properly with the lower [crank] pulley?

These things really do :yesnod: get outta.whack after a few years and a bunch of times being pried upon for belt tightening.
