question about my 4 speed transmission
previous owner said it has a saginaw transmission did 74's manuals come with both saginaw's and muncie's. if so, which one is better?

i could be wrong but i don't believe the sag was available in the vette. yours should be a muncie.

The Vette used the Muncie 4-speed into '74 production. In mid'74 they changed over to the Borg Warner 4-speed. The Saginaw was not used in 74.
