Paint shop questions
How does a paint shop paint the door jams and edges? Do they take off the interior door panels? About how long does a shop take to repaint a corvette? What is the going rate these days for a complete paint job stripping, fixing chips and stress cracks? Is it worth it to strip the car myself?

Some places go about it different ways. As far the price, two years ago I was quoted between $3,500.00 and up for a complete paint job. One shop said they would shoot the car for $900.00. (shoot meaning no remove and replace of trim, no sanding, no body work, just shoot and go).
