Shift Kit installed
Got the car back from the Trans shop last night. WHOaaa what a difference. In my last car I had a Turbo 400. When I put the kit in that one, it changed the slip on shifting - but nothing like this! :yesnod:
Not only did they put a kick-butt shift kit in the Vette :yesnod: , but they changed the shift points right to where I WAS shifting it MANUALLY on hard accel - 5500 rpm. Originally, the trans was shifting short of 5000 at full throttle.
So with the combination of delayed shifting PLUS the kick in the saddle when it DOES shift, I'm excited! :yesnod:  :yesnod:
In a coupla more days I get the 2500 stall convertor too. Whoppeeeeee! :flag

Awesome! Got me excited to do that too! :) Let me know how the TC goes. Also something I've been thinking of as well. Gotta finish the TPI done first though. :(
So are you running the 388 in your 76? Legally? COOL.
