Hey Merlin522....
VERY sweet car you have there. Just curious, if you don't mind me asking, but how much do you have tied up in it? GOTTA be a blast to drive. I tip my hat to you. :flag

I don't know how much he has tied up in it but if you haven't checked out his web site, it is a must see of the build up. I think it is one of the best documented builds of an entire car on this site. You will appreciate the car even more after you check it out if you haven't yet.

greatgonzoglenn - Glenn, I generally don't like talking money so I'll just say this. I could have MANY Z06's sitting in the garage.

I don't usually talk about money either.
But if I had a dollar for every dime Merlin spent on his monster.
I would be very, very rich :D :seeya

Re: Hey Merlin522.... (boredsoIstrokedit)
I never really expected it to sell. I was really trying to get a good appraisal value for the insurance company. I figured $40 for an appraisal ain't bad. I had a few offers, but nothing substantial. If that price had been high enough, I probably would have sold it. I'm glad I didn't. Right now we just have a synthetic blend in there. After the break-in is done, I'll likely try Royal Purple or some such oil.

I use valvoline pure synthetic. I will be interested in your opinion about the Royal Purple, I was looking at that stuff again the other night. wondering if it is worth it...

Thanks all, I did go to the sight and see all the work. Simply awesome. I figured the $ issue was up there. I understand not wanting to talk about how much it took to build such a fine machine. Again, I take my hat off to you and your sweet machine. :flag
