Will my rear end drop enough with axles on?
Will my rear end drop enough to get the crossmember off with the trailing arms and half shafts still on? There are no other connections besides those. An inch or two would be plenty, right?

The problem is the frame mounts extend an inch or two into the crossmember. That could be a lot of weight coming down pushing your trailing arms outward. Why not just unbolt the half shafts?

Yeah, I know. That is why I have a 4 ft pry bar laying on the shop floor :D I need to make a custom crossmember that isn't as tall so my coilover conversion works better.
