C5 Mufflers are on.
and man what a night and day diffrence! The only rumbling my car does now is on my web site :( but i like it. the install wasnt the greatest, as i have to drop them a little and move them back, but not toooo bad. it actually does sound alot like a new vette. a little rougher, but i bet if i had a 2-1-2 factory style with the C5s it wouldnt be that diffrent. you dont really hear much until 3000+ rpms and then it sounds very sporty. but at 1000rpm its surprisingly bassey. i set a car alarm off in a parking garage today, and it didnt even do that with the muffler delete option  Overall i like it. but i have plans to do dumps, so thats why. Its pretty quiet and i noticed a small power loss, but its nothing major. im sure dumps before the cats will fix that :D
oh yea, i couldnt mount them so that the tips came out in the center without altering the mufflers, so i had them installed so the tips are on the sides of the car. it wont look bad once i get it mounted a little better, and i really like the tips. I'll get pics tomorrow. in the daylight.

simple economics. i could pay about $30 to have these shipped from a forum member, or 50 for some cheepies, and $30 to have them shipped. and no, cherry bombs were not an option for me :D

have i missed anything significant? :jester
Thanks for the compliments on the site, believe it or not it only took about a day to create, and most of that was the title images.
here are the pics: http://temp.corvetteforum.net/c3/79p...ange/pics.html
you can see how they are mounted a little low, and i desperatly need to get some hi-temp flat black paint on them. i already have some and you can see where i tested it out if you look close. i noticed that if i talk in my car i can hear myself now. :lolg:

That is a very pretty installation! Thanks for sharing. And I agree with your comments re boredom of the Forum. It is very dull.

well i think its hit a lull. Countless members projects are complete now. it just sorta slowed down. i think once racing season starts and summer comes we'll see alot more pics, and projects come up. so im anticipating that.
