Let's play a few rounds of "what is this"
I've finally gotten the chance to take a few pictures of the engine bay and troubleshoot a few things. Let's play "what is this".
First item. I found this wire that was not connected to anything. It appears to be coming out of the main wiring harness and I can't seem to figure out what it should attach to. Anyone??

It looks like the wiper motor ground wire....look on the wiper motor....driver's side...just above the plug with the three wires (yellow, green, black). I think the ground plugs in there (terminal may be broken).

Does your tach work? My guess is the tach filter connector. What doesn't work on your car. That may narrow it down a bit.

Radio doesn't work. Blower doesn't work. Wiper door doesn't work (including override). Those are just the items I've found that don't work. Headlights WORK!! :jester

I say it's the blower ground, the wiper motor ground is in the 3 prong connector on the side and the tach wire is usually brown or yellow
EDIT, the wipermotor has 2 connectors, a red (or purple or pink) one in a single connector and the on that is visible in the 1st picture, the black/green/yellow oneso it's definitely not the wiper ground.

I thought the wiper motor had 3 "voltage" wires (high, low, and one hot all the time) on the plug, plus a ground wire connected to the mounting stud that has the ground bar on it. :skep:

I would say that is the wiper motor gorund wire which should have a corresponding spade terminal attacted to one of the wiper motor mounting bolts. The wiper motor is the big black box behind the distributor :jester
