Default Rear Shocks

It's starting already.. I have parts in labeled cups but I'm trying to remember how things go back together. On the lower shock mount there was a nut, lock washer and a cupped washer. Does the shock go on the mount and then cupped washer-lock washer-nut.. or does the cupped washer go on the mount first before the shock? Thanks!

Corvette centrals catalog shows it as shock, cup washer(cupped out), lock washer, and then nut. I think I remeber my '72s being the same.
See this site for a diagram. http://www.parts123.com/PartFrame.as...rvette_Central

and search on rear shock absorber mount kit.
Hope it helps :seeya

Thanks! That's what I thought But I know I would have put it on with the cup towards the shock. Good thing I asked before doing!!
