Default Very Rare(Seriously) Corvette On eBay(Not A Joke).....

Don't know if this will come through http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...&category=6168
Anyways, car is a true '75 L-82 convertible, one of only 366 ever built by GM. Since doing my '75 L-82 Survey for the last 5 years, I've only EVER seen ONE Yellow '75 L-82 convertible(which had an automatic)and it was at Corvettes@Carlisle last year. This is a Yellow(incorrect shade), Medium Saddle interior, no tilt/tele, no A/C  , so far, at $10K, seems to be a very good buy-super rare car :yesnod:
ps, I know, no alloy wheels in '75, but it'd still make a tough '75 roadster :yesnod:

Nice car! Wish I had the money though. This might be a good investment!

so far, at $10K, seems to be a very good buy
reserve not met so it might not be such a deal

Car looks deceant and everything in the engine bay seems to be in it's proper place. Being a vert and L82 certainly makes it more desirable then a L48 Coupe of the same year. If trim code states it's original color is yellow I don't think it was painted to match the Original Bright Yellow, looks a little off to me, also I don't believe they are the correct wheels altough they look good on this car, they weren't an option in 75, Please correct me if I'm wrong.
I'd buy it for 10,000 to drive and have fun with but wouldnt buy as an investment.

It certainly is a good looking car and being a 4spd help. I would buy it just to have a nice shark to drive. In terms of investment value/rarity though, I just don't see the '75 L82 verts becoming any more than an interesting oddity. There will always be some premium but no more than a comparable '73 or '74 L82 or earlier 350 vert.

Just my HO.

Nice car.Who would have thought the value of early C3s would be where they are today. That car has 3 things, the L82,the 4 speed and being a vert. Not many of either in 75.Will it go up in value? All you can look at is how the older cars have done.

Car looks pretty good in the photos. Not a bad deal if the true price isn't too much higher than the current bid (~ $10K)

I like it. It looks nice and clean. The bid price is not too bad either. The description describes the car pretty well without overselling it. I would consider it if I was looking. This car would certainly hold its value and go up over time if well cared for. Should the Speedo have the L-82 marking on the face?

e-mailed the eBay seller and they say the color is the same as the original. Could that be correct?

I think it'll go about $11,500-at least that is what I'm going to bid :yesnod: Juuuuuuuust kiddinggggggg. A '75 "Bright Yellow is much more "brighter" than that!!! That is painted more like a '74 Yellow tone color.

I'm not exactly sure on all years with L-82(not counting '73 & '74). I know an '80 L-82 will say "L-82" on speedo face. I know '75-'77s did'nt. Unsure about '78 & '79.

'78-'79 has the L82 logo on the speedo.

Nice car, but I think it's a driver and by no means an NCRS car. BTW: Looks like it's been desmogged.
