What I am doing on my vaction
HI All, I took a weeks vaction this week. I started wet sanding Tuesday night with 1000 grit, then went to 1500 grit. Thursday I will do the final sanding with 2000 grit. then I hope to finish polishing Thursday night or Friday morning. I go to pick my new shortblock Friday at noon.
 Larry

Nice looking car!!! Since you glassed in the nose, what did you do with the valance panel for fit/mounting? Did you take the time to modify it so it fits flush with tight joints?
What color of yellow and brand of paint did you use?
And we need pictures!!!!!

Re: What I am doing on my vaction (74-Roadster)
I got some new pics now. It was a lot of work to get the all of the joints on the front and rear bumpers flush like I needed them to be for a good fit. A lot of slicing and pushing and pulling. I used PPG paint and the color is Yellow Mica. it a three stage color off of a Mazda RX7. We only put 2 coats of pearl on, anymore pearl would have turned it mustard looking. I just picked up the 421 short block last night and have it about ready to go in. I need a few more parts before I will bolt it in.
Here it is wetsanded with 1500 wet-dry and here it is polished, and I do need a little more detail work
I will get some more pics today of car as well as the motor.
 Thanks Larry
