Default 5 speed swap question

Anyone installed a borg warner 5 speed ?.I am looking for the id# that will match up to a 350.The # are on a tag on the tail shaft.Any additional info greatly appreciated.Glenn. :steering: :seeya

I did this swap a few years ago although I used the ford T5. My son swapped the chevy T5 into a camaro and he just went to the wreckers and bought a normal V8 T5. A number of guys are also using the 6 cylinder version and getting away with it but 1st is extremely low and overdrive is about .8. With 3.08 gears this works out ok. I am not recommending the 6 cylinder version but one guy I know uses them with a healthy 350 on nitrous and it usually lasts a full season of beating it. It does blow about once a summer but any of the V8 versions should work for you.
