Lettering on Center Instrument Panel red lights - question
I need to know whether or not the lettering etching is painted in on these lights. Details in this thread on Fact Correct board... http://forums.corvetteforum.com/zerothread?id=510922 I appreciate any assistance I can get here. Thanks!

TO the best of my knowledge the idiot lights on dashes are silkscreened in in one form or another no matter what style, ie Red lit up lettering with black background or black lettering with lit up red background.
Where you are talking 2 different years minor things like that may have changed regarding the idiot lights and they BOTH may be factory correct.
Best bet would be to contact NCRS and ask them.

Thanks, Mike. I may try the NCRS site. Looks like no one here has changed theirs? These lenses are actually engraved. Real hard to tell if the engraving was originally painted black as well. These are the lights labeled 'SEAT BELTS' and 'HEAD LIGHTS'.
