Auto Meter Phantom Speedo & Tach Mounting
I'm replacing all the gauges in my '76 with Auto Meter Phantom gauges. The 2-1/6" gauges installed cleanly in the console. I am having some problem with mounting the speedo & tach though. I removed the original gauges and plastic lenses.
How do I deal with the 1/8" gap around the replacement 5" gauges and hold them in place?

Re: Auto Meter Phantom Speedo & Tach Mounting (GrandSportC3)
Thanks!
BTW, although I didn't recall your posts about the actual installation of these gauges, it was your posts that helped me make my decision to go with the Phantoms.
I'll post some pics for you RedShark when finished (and I figure out how to post them). In the mean time, I'd check out GrandSportC3's pics.
