There is this statement regarding K&N Air Filters: "Reusable K&N Filterchargers outflow original equipment filters --- up to 900 cfm --- for claimed power gains up to 15 horsepower."

Fifteen horsepower! Really? What do you think?

:bs

The 15 HP claim is under controlled and ideal circumstances, so you should expect about 1/3 of that figure (best guess).

I installed a K&N on my Caddy Northstar, not sure on HP Gains but I did gain 1.5 mpg better gas mileage and a noticeable quicker throttle response.

5-10hp MAYBE

But I bought one for all my vechiles because it is the LAST air filter I will ever buy. They have a 1,000,000 mile warrenty.

My filter is 14X3.5 into headers then 2 1/2 pipes through Borlas. I think that is all I can do.
