Well, according to the ol' black book, it's the VIN for a 1972 convertible, with the base 200 hp engine.

... and just for fun, a bit more "black book" trivia...
Ending vehicle # for March, '72: 17613
Ending vehicle # for April, '72: 19993
So, 2,380 cars were built in April of 1972, including the one in question.
Number 18074 would have been the 461st car built in April, or about 19% of the way through those 2,380 cars.
The calendar shows 20 work days in April, 1972, starting with Monday, the 3rd (the St. Louis plant didn't work on Saturday or Sunday, did it??? I don't know.) If that's right, then 19% of the way through the work month puts the car in production on the 4th work day, which would have been Thursday, April 6th.
Of course, no one would expect the plant to produce the exact same number of cars every day, so that calculated date of April 6th is probably off by a couple of days one way or the other.
Ain't this stuff fun?
