Default Speaking of leaf springs......

How close to the ground should my '79 rear (exhaust pipes) be ? I haven't measured yet, but mine are awful close, maybe 3 inches off the road. How do
I know if I need a new spring ?

Is your spring flat? Do the "ears" of the spring bend upward? Then it's time.

You can call yourself lucky I had only 2" when I still had my 3" undercar exhaust still on.
