77 seat options?
I'm at the seat stage of my 77 resto and I am unsure of which way to go. Should I restore the seats in leather or vinyl? Sounds like theres pros and cons with each. Its not numbers matching so aftermarket seats do appeal with their contemporary styling and side bolsters. Which aftermarkets can you suggest?

i just redone my seats in leather...the original was vinyl. if you want something that is for everyday use, then go with vinyl...it seems that this leather kinda wears fastet, but the leather does look better.....just looks smooth. :yesnod:

I also have a '77 and read a lot of posts on this. One option that is very popular is to replace your '77 seats w/ '79-'82 (or SA '78) seats. They have much more support then the '77 seats and should be a fairly easy install.
You need to use your rails w/ the new seat rails. GOOD LUCK!

If you have deluxe interior, I can't imagine anything other than leather...
Leather 78-82 seats are very cool too. Either way you decide....go leather
