what does a pace car go for????
just out of curiousity, saw a nice pace car, 16,500 miles spotless........the guy wanted 18k........nice lookin ride

I've seen low-mileage Original Pace Cars go for $25k over the auction block. $16k for a 16,500 mileage Pacer seems quite reasonable and if in the market...take a serious look. confirm the numbers are accurate, if its been hit and the usual precautions. In fact, I'm tempted to ask "what's wrong with it?"

it was auto but I dont know otherwise.......it looked straight, interior was perfect.......

Its a good price if its a real Pace. Beware, there are a lot of fakes. There should be a "9" in the sixth to the last digit if its a factory Pace. I have a '78 L48 auto Pace. The one that intrigues me is at CnV corvettes right now. A L82 stick with 59,000 for $18500. There were only 200 of those built. I would imagine it is a little rough for that price. I bought mine from them, and its all original, just needed some resto work. If I were buying today, I'd go for that L82 stick............. good luck!
